"Preserving the History of St. George's Hospital, Morpeth" 

The St. George's Historical Society was created in the first instance to preserve and safeguard the history, old records and the stories for the use of local people, historians and others.

Membership of the society includes current and retired staff from the hospital, former clients, relatives, carers and interested members of the public. All of whom share an ambition to safegaurd our heritage in Northumberland for future generations.

We are very grateful for the support of the chief excecutive Alan Hall, the chairman of the Trust, the non-executive and executive member of the Trust Board supporting the work of the society, which after all is independent of the Trust.
